Site Survey is a Print Assessment analysis tool that analyzes data collected by ROI Print Assessment Agents. Following guidance from a User friendly Wizard, it will quickly produce a comprehensive report based upon actual costs and amount of printing carried out during the Print Assessment period (typically 2 - 4 weeks).

Information detailed includes the total number of Users, total pages printed, pages printed by Users, pages printed by printers, network traffic, cost per page for each printer, total cost for each user and much more. Site Survey not only ensures better management of an existing printing environment but also enables planning of future strategy, helping organizations make more informed decisions.

ROI Agents automatically record information on every print job printed from a Users workstation or stand alone PC, including jobs sent via a parallel port or Peer to Peer printing. The Agent operates at the application level and is therefore printer driver independent. This means that it will accurately record data from even the latest digital multi function devices.

An Agent can be loaded onto any Windows NT/XP/2k workstation using ROI's unique automated Agent Distribution system or alternatively using login scripts, SMS or similar package to facilitate mass network distribution. The Agent provides true Network operating system independence and will record print data from any Windows client PC regardless of the network O/S, including Novell printing. Data recorded includes who submitted the print job, data and time print job was issued, user who printed job, size in bytes, type of printer driver used, number of pages in document and much more. An Agent should be installed on to every Client PC that requires monitoring.
