Print Control Software Announces ROI Print Manager is now Citrix approved

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona – August 30, 2011. Print Control Software, Inc. announced today that ROI Print Manager has been Citrix Certified. “We have been working closely with Citrix to validate and certify that the ROI software is fully compatibles with their software and are very pleased to announce the positive results,” said Shane Hannan, President of Print Control Software. “Many of our large customers routinely use Citrix and this certification will be greatly appreciated by their IT Departments.”

The rigorous testing by Citrix has proven that the ROI software is compatible within a Citrix network environment. Testing of the ROI software involved all operating systems supported by Citrix (Server 2003, 2008, 32 and 64-bit) including Citrix Xen Application and Xen Desktop software. This testing confirmed that there was no extra load on the servers when printing to various Citrix print queues. The testing included printing through numerous applications published by Citrix systems and confirming the ROI agents captured the printing information and was safe to use in Citrix environments.

Print Control Software Announces the Release of ROI Local Talk

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona – May 18, 2011. Print Control Software, Inc. makers of ROI Print Manager announced today the release of ROI Local Talk. This application resides on workstations and collects meter counts from locally connected USB printers along with other information such as serial number, printer model, alerts and break down of color and mono pages. “There is only one agent to deploy that will capture both Windows spooler printing – user level information and meter counts, alerts & errors,” said Shane Hannan, President of Print Control Software. “From an IT perspective this reduces administrative over-head by having one packaged agent and reduces the risk of conflicts with other agents that may be on the workstations.”

Once the application gets the information from the USB printer it will send that information to the ROI web-service which in turn will place the information in to the ROI database.

ROI Local Talk is wrapped as an MSI package and can then be deployed by the customer IT dept through various install programs to all workstations. Different to other solutions that continually poll the network for information ROI Local Talk pushes the information directly to the ROI server when it has information to send.

Ride Completed - Cycling to Raise Money for Japan - San Diego to Phoenix

On some of the steepest climbs I would hear “bing-bing” coming from the phone, meaning another email donation. These emails always came at the right time - helping to encourage me to push on…. Thank you all."

Cycling to Raise Money for Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Victims

TEMPE, Arizona - April 28, 2011. Shane Hannan, President of Print Control Software, Inc makers of ROI Print Manager, will be cycling over 400 miles from San Diego to Phoenix – solo and unassisted - this month to help raise money for the victims of the Japan Earthquake and Tsunami. The ride will start from San Diego Airport on May 5, 2011 at 9am and should finish in Phoenix on May 10th. “It’s a great cause - after seeing the terrible destruction from the earthquake and tsunamis that followed, I wanted to do something to help,” said Shane Hannan. The ride will go through Ramona, Brawley & Blythe in California, from there to Quartzsite, Wickenburg and finish in Phoenix. “Shane and ROI Print Manager have been a great partner for Ricoh/IKON over the years and we wish him every success on his quest to raise funds.” said Ron Neilson, Regional Vice President – Western Region Ricoh.
