ROI Local Talk is a software application that resides on the workstation and reads the USB ports. When Local Talk finds a USB connected printer it will collect the meter counts from the printer along with other information such as the serial number, printer model, alerts, and break down of color and mono pages. The information collected is sent to the ROI server which in turn will write the information to the ROI database. This information can then be used in service and billing systems. ROI Local Talk pushes the information directly to the ROI server when it has information to send.
